Is Microsoft's $10 Billion Investment Trying to Stave the Pandemic?

Google's CEO stated that following two years of dramatic growth, Google hired for a different economic reality than the one they are currently facing over the course of the pandemic. Meanwhile, Google is cutting 12,000 employees or around 6% of its workforce. Ben Mitchell: Should investors like it when management is so incompetent that they accidentally hire 12,000 to many people? If they then can't afford to pay and presumably whose projects, whatever it is that they're working on are now stalled? "I don't understand this way of thinking," he says.
