I Had a Big Wake Up Call at My Mother's Funeral

i was one of the first generations of women that were raised to have a professional expectation. My mother certainly grew up having professional aspirations, but she was not the norm. And i'm listening to people talk about what a difference she made in their lives. As a lot of people do when they lose a parent, i'm reflect on my own life and going, why am i here? What am i doing? How is that benefiting any one?
