The big concern right now is, you know, is this an aerosol generating procedure? And so among our first patients that developed this syndrome needed an escalation of oxygen therapy, we asked, hey, let's put them on high flow. "Everybody, nurses, RTS looked at us like we were crazy," he says. The party line is in the United States, CPAP, you want to try to avoid as much as possible. But if they're using their accessory muscles, you know that they're starting to get tired. Some patients will tell me, please intubate me? No kidding."
