Who Sells Accounts?
According to our best scientific picture of the world, the contents that we represent in perception are not a ter, nota, reflected in reality. At the same time, misrepresentation is reliable in that you get things wrong in the same way all the time. There could still be enough selective pressure to represent the world in this way. It might even be better than veridically representing the world as actually having complex surface reflections,. which might take more representational resources to represent than just simple colours.
