The Main Demands of the Workers in Peasants' Movements
The main demands of the movement are the following. People want the coup to be reversed and basic democracy to be reinstalled. The slogan of Castillo, which is never again poor people in a rich country, will not be fulfilled. And this cannot be achieved by a mere change of the constitution. As long as economic power is in the hands of 17 economic groups, most of them are family-based groups or multinationals.
