What Is the Scarlet Thread Above Rahab?

Last week we began the second book of the Bible, Joshua. We're going to cover chapters three and four very briefly. Israel is on the cusp of the promised land but has not yet entered into it. The story will go all the way back to Genesis 3 when Adam was cast out of the garden.
