Is Bitcoin Threatening the Dollar?

I don't think it's very constructive for the community to focus upon Bitcoin replacing the dollar. I could be more supportive of Bitcoin replacing the Zimbabwe dollar or the Venezuelan Bolivar like in a hyperinflationary environment. When gold isn't fast enough, by gold is an antiquated elitist asset, right? And so if you're going to deliver a store of value to everybody with a mobile phone on Earth, Bitcoin is your best bet.
