The mayor of the Philippines used social media to help him win office. When he was running for president, his number one concern became drugs. And when you exposed these extra constitutional killings and vigilantism on the part of the government, he became more agitated about your coverage. He expelled, or tried to expel, your reporters from the palace from covering him. You suddenly found yourself on the receiving end o a social media sort of hate campaign. It's like a front row seat to the worst of what social media can do.
