Andy started an advertising agency his senior year in college. He traded ads for a bartering food with restaurants to get them to hire him. Andy and Kate moved from Tempe, Ariz., to New York where they found work as ad creatives. They lived together on the Upper East Side but were not happy about their arrangement.
