The Importance of Private Property in the Nazi Party

Strosser wanted the party to publicly support a new piece of legislation that was sponsored by Communists and Social Democrats. The law called for all property of the former German ruling family to be requisitioned by the state. When Hitler learned of the program being circulated, he was furious with Strosser's ideas. In February 1926, this ideological conflict between the two groups would be confronted directly at a meeting in Bamberg. They also agreed to destroy all copies of the program that had been circulated.
