Is There Still Too Much Forage?
With live stock, there is potentially not enough forage to go through into the year winter. The message seems to be, don't panic just yet. Do what you can. Be proactive. Some of the far areas that are affected by the drought this year are places where this drought doesn't happen to to the extreme that it is now. So trying to manage what forage you have almost becomes a sort of second nature. And make sure that you're not carrying excess young stock of gas inte and cut out the bottom end of the headif it's worth while to do so.
