The History of Western Christianity

In Western Christianity, we've lost the story that the Bible is actually trying to tell us about these things. We live in God's good world, but something has gone so fundamentally wrong with it. It needs to be reburged. That's true for human beings, and it's true for the universe as a whole. This is Jesus' hope. And so for the leaders of Jerusalem to challenge his view of the resurrection, they're trying to undermine his hope and his motivation for doing. So this is my book, the ideas of heaven and birds are way of talking about dark space and art.
