Progressive overload works in two ways it's not only weights but reps and you know the guy was like well if I could hit 10 with this. Once you hit 10 put weight on the bar when if you get six is great come back the next week try to get sevenget eight you get 10 add weight to the bar. You just have to be able to balance volume and intensity and hope for a little super compensation on a D load. It doesn't seem complicated to me having looked at it but when you ask some people asking these questions I realized that there's almost this like smoke screen that they get stuck from.
