I Survived the Wilderness

The hermit had only spoken to another human being once during the 27 years that he was out and about. This was when he said hi to a hiker he was passing, who in turn did not acknowledge him. The other time he interacted with a person, he had tried to break into what he thought was an empty cabin. He admitted to the robberies, but he was true to his word and they were all going to pretend no one had seen each other.
