I think if we destroy ourselves this century, I think it's far more likely to be the result of new things that humans have created. Things that we can't predict now or something specific. We just don't have a similar argument that like nuclear war is a one in 100,000 per year thing. That just seems so overconfident. Fortunately, I guess now we're probably safer than we were during the Cold War. The technology is somewhat better. It's like you could end up with a nuclear Cold War between China and the US.
