The Role of Licensing Boards in Compliance
LZ Granderson: I think you're still under sort of regime of regulation even when you have a license if I understand it correctly. So for example, if a customer says that there was an issue with this licensed worker, potentially they did subpar work or they committed some type of crime, they can report the issue to the licensing board which can investigate the incident and then potentially impose sanctions or revoke the license. LZ: This is definitely a measure that licensing boards have on hand to ensure compliance with certain standards. It is worth noting it is not the only measure we have as a society to ensure that customers are protected, that public health and safety standards are being upheld and so forth
