The History of Race Theory and Marxism in the 20th Century

classical Marxism was a focus on economic oppression. Critical race theory says what matters about you is if you're white or black or Asian or Hispanic, that's what really matters. This is an extension of something called identity politics ramped up beyond anything you can imagine previously. We need to work for the common good, loving God in our neighbor within those categories of a worldview.
