The One Thing That Unites the People of Wisconsin
Moses Ordway was a minister in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He reported that the one thing that united the people of Green Bay was their desire to blaspheme God. And through his ministry and also through cutting marsh, a church was established. In fact, that church continues to exist today, although it's no longer a Presbyterian church,. I believe it's a Methodist church. So they really started something which had some lasting power to it. But they also did some things in Milwaukee. They got a church started in Milwaukee. It kind of became the center for Presbyterian church activity in Wisconsin.
