The Importance of Having a Continuum of Attention
Music acts as an anaesthetic in some sense to the pain i experience doing calculus. We have this culture of where the enjoyment of pleasure is kept passive. Ingon: Imagine having two hours a day wher you're not looking at a screen, ah, you're not hearing any notifications from your phone,. If you don't hear any music, then you're just greedy or you're just trying to understand a passage.
