The film makers rans very quickly and they got out of the way. I feel like the better message would have been, hey, yea, we are as she says, we are this messy, weird. There's these parts of ourselves that are facult an challenging, and it's not good and healthy just to suppress them. We can't just let it run rough shot over us in the world either. And i think even a child's ending a story like that, they're going to remember the whole story and the impact of the story more than they'll remember a line at the end that may be articulated in an unhelpful way.
