The amount of family homes that are bursting at the seams with stuff is a huge looming paper tsunami on the horizon. You can't change people like no one could change you and you can'tchange people. The best you can do is make sure that you have their medical and financial paperwork out of the file cabinets so that if you need to be their power of health care or power of attorney, you have the paperwork because those are very paper heavy activities. If they don't want to do it now, don't ruin your relationship over it like enjoy the years that you have with your parents. But yeah, it is going to be your job to clean that out eventually.
