The Importance of Being a Citizen
The argument for letting younger people vote is based on two categories: categorical and consequential. Different countries think about the categorical set in quite different ways, so there's no sense of whether it would be better or worse if these types of people were allowed to vote. As a French citizen, although I haven't resided in France since 1980, I still get to vote in French elections until I die. Other countries will exclude expats after a certain amount of time.
