In many fields of science, we have a raging replication crisis. There is very little entis for scientist to actually engage in rapplication because that's usually not what gets into the top journals. If you cannot trust science, then everything down stream is broken as well. Medical progress depends on science. The decisions that be and society depend on science. We can basically revide all o that from scratch. And i think it hh with smart contracts, we can try to create an economic system that equates scientific innovation with profit.
