I wonder if you have an idea of what the alternative to modern masculinity is. There's a nice phrase in the book where you say, modern masculinity is a ponsy scheme. I think your right to draw out the bit where i strongly believe that masculinity and capitalism are linked in the way they are formulated. If it's based on dominance, then you can em then there can only be so many winners. And there is really no answer for what you're meant to do in society if you are a loser under the terms of modern masculinity.
