Codependency is an overt and or a covert bid for control, right? Controlling the lives of others because that other person's life being a disaster was giving me stress pain. Another thing that goes along with this is over giving, where you get invited to pot luck for, let’s say, the holidays,. If people are gathering by thet am and they say, please bring one thing, and you bring two appetizers, one dessert and mandish. Like just over giving a more than needs to happen.
