The Different Milleus

I don't really aim to reject the opposition between instrumental and humanistic reason. The aim is really to understand how these differences between two cultures are put to work, that subtend both sides of the equation as it were. And the people I write about were kind of experts in mobilizing these differences to reduce new kind of epistemic, political, and social interventions in the name of a kind of expert discourse.
