Most salmon we see at holfoods or anywhere, is not wild caught. The competitor for this g m o salmon is aquiculture salmon grown in ocean pens. And so you just lower the price of this alternative salmon until it hits a point where people are willing to take the risk. Then presumably, when they don't all die, then you can raise the price back up again.
