The commonwealth integrity commission, as you w'll see in the legislation, will have greater powers than a royal commission. The government's model would not allow for retrospective inquiries or act on public tipofs. And perhaps most importantly, it wouldn't have the ability to investigate any of the coal s most egregious recent scandals. It's nothing like what we've seen in new south wales. It's something much, much weaker, ok?
