The Importance of Reputation in the CIA

I'm not sure that's a bad thing, frankly. You're the most important thing you have is your reputation. There must be many case officers who do not and treat their agents well. So there's a term that's used at the agency which I hated. But it's called scalps. And a scalp is a recruitment. That means that a case officer has done a full cycle recruitment,. spat assess, develop, recruit an agent. It just can't be discussed in the room, but everyone leads that room to talk.
