The Importance of Assessing a Need

The medical doctor persona is a really good one because it's one that we've all had an experience with. And applying that to addressing and being able to close a lead that comes in is one that I think is more helpful in professional services. So if you think about a doctor, right, they're assessing you. They might run some tests. They might do some blood work. Then once they assess the need, the second step is they diagnose for you what they think is the issue. The diagnostic part is such an important element as so often it's easy for the salesperson to focus on the pitch.
