Day 286: The Battle to Choose God (2022)
The Bible in a Year (with Fr. Mike Schmitz)

A Rich Man and a Poor Man
A man's heart changes his countenance, either for good or for evil. The mark of a happy heart is a cheerful face. To devise proverbs requires painful thinking. Riches are not seemly for a stingy man and of what use is property to an envious man. Remember that death will not delay, and the decree of Hades has not been shown to you. Do good to a friend before you die,. Reach out, and give to him as much as you can. Let not your share of desired good pass by you. My son, treat yourself well according to your means, and present worthy offerings to the Lord.
