Against Bayesianism — David Deutsch
The Joe Walker Podcast
Basianism Is a Form of Inductivism, Right?
In practice, the theory of basianism is what happens. That you justify it in a different way now and that will lead to your actual behaviour changing. But you never see that, because it happens as as a sult of a deeper shift. The other end of the spectrum which i think is just plain inductivism. So at the good end, basinism is er just a word for a using conditional probabilities correctly. It's not bays's theorem - but basian epistemology is just the name of a mistake. I have no quarrel with whatever.
