The Impact of COVID on Real Interest Rates
Coven didn't affect that because real interest rates didn't go up, right? Real interest rates went down. Inflation went up way more than interest rates. So I think COVID has exacerbated that really because it's really because CO VID has massively increased inequality. And now the rich have enormously more money than they ever had. Unless the government taxes the rich, how would the rich going to stop having that money? It's going to become like a hot potato, right? Because every single rich person has got 500 grand in the bank and they're thinking, well, I better get rid of this before asset prices go up.
