The Importance of Level Two Identity
In level two identity, which lasts from about four months to puberty, is what I call compliant ego based self. In this state, a little tej wants to know how to get more pleasure and less pain. Then puberty hits and we automatically nature has us go into level three identity. Why? Because now we have this new force within us sexual maturation that creates a desire within us. And so basically at this phase, we start to live our lives outside the inn in response to social approval from other people and beings.
