I had an out of blue email from somebody who said, I would like to buy one of your paintings online. Usually you can tell the difference in the language of the email pretty quickly. The poor guy whose wife doesn't have a laptop is a dead giveaway. If somebody writes to you and they engage like a human being, they are more likely to be a proper human at the end of it. It just feels that I might be wrong. But my instinct is 99% sure that this was genuine. This is the first original art I've bought. I've waited till I'm 63. But I'm ready for this now.
