Book is divided into three parts: anticipation, decision making and sport. Part one examines the biological motion perception we engage in when striving to anticipate actions of an opponent. There isn't actually research evidence to suggest that experts have superior eyesight or visual function compared to less expert performersti The key plus point here is that much of this information is available before ball foot or ball racket contact,. thus allowing them, in essence, to be able to anticipate what will happen ahead of the event itself.
