Even here on Earth, there are some serious challenges to try to survey all of the rivers. A lot of rivers like say up in the Arctic or in countries that we can't exactly go to for various reasons aren't surveyed. So instead of saying the rivers delivered this much sediment and this much fluid, how does it adjust its geometry? We just need a picture of the river and measure the slope if you have topography data. That is so interesting that we can figure that out with the limited data we have about Titan.
