Is There a Deal Between the EU and the UK?
If he comes to you with a deal that many in his own party aren't prepared to sign, you would support him to get it through Parliament. I don't think either the UK government or the EU would both sign a deal which would take things backwards. They will only sign a deal that goes forward. In those circumstances, yes, we will. So we are not going to have a situation where the EU and the UK government agree that there is progress on the protocol and the Labour Party stops that progress and happens. We want to help the Prime Minister by not playing politics,. By helping him get across the line in a difficult situation for the interests of Northern Ireland. That's the position
