Building Better Interactive Tools for Teaching Programming

I started this project about five years ago as a graduate student. And it was just something I did. Like many hobby projects, like many of these open source projects, they just scratched my own edge. So he found my Python tutor project and actually challenged me to try to make it so that you can embed it within other web pages. This was four years ago. And I've been working with him ever since on and off to embed the Python tutor in his page. Throughout the textbook, you'll see little widgets here and there that show a piece of Python code with a slider through it. The visualizations actually appear. And then you hit edit, you can actually edit the code in
