The Importance of Diversification in Portfolio Construction
David Bailin: Investors have to think about it this way. You're getting paid now for the first time in a very long time to hold a medium duration bond portfolio. If you can make as a 5% or 5.5% doing that for five or six years, you can really earn some terrific yields. He says investors should diversify into areas even like China, which are countercyclical and trading at incredibly low values.
