The Effects of Population Changes on the Labor Market

In France, population obviously made it harder for peasants to get land. But in America, population growth with the big baby boom, it shifted the nature of the labor market. We now have a labor market that has people who graduated from high school in the 50s and 60s when a college degree wasn't needed by everybody.
