Boaz, the Father of Anthropology

Boaz is kind of colloquially known as the father of anthropology. He played a really important role in the restructuring of anthropology institutionally. Many of his students went on to become key figures in emerging departments like at UC Berkeley and other places. His legacy is really important to a lot of anthropologists for that reason.
