Isometric Training for Cycling?

Alex is Alex has done a lot of work to get athletes in sport specific positions and creating extra isometric exercises within those. In this video he works with some cyclists in some quite specific positions for cycling. What goes through your head when you are thinking about integrating that into the specific positions for these different sports how are you creating them exercises? It's basically getting the athlete to perform the isometric split squat at the bottom range of the movement, which was kind of similar to the position a cyclist adopts on the bike.
