Hulu has learned that if you raise the price on the people who are paying for the ad free version, they don't cancel. That means guess what? They'll raise it more. Hulu is your best way alongside exactly what Jason was saying. Increase prices slightly and you can bring the advertising in and you're hoping that that generates enough revenue per user along with more acquisition and retentionless customers. The time that everyone thought they had from the executives to the analysts who cover cable and telecom thought that they had is rapidly decreasing. It's why everyone's pivoting to streaming as not just a service, but literally as a platform.
