The Magic of Romantic Comedies
When we were putting Red, White, and Royal Blue the movie together, there were no examples for us. I knew that you couldn't go wrong examining the old fashioned rom-comes. We looked at the 1930s. Bringing up Baby was perhaps one of the most influential films on all of us as we were making this movie. There's something really mad cap about that film. When you see Catherine Hepburn and Kerry Grant and that, you can see some shadow of Alex and Henry in some way. And I hope people will find that you can see that red wine, red blue.
