i first encountered the idea of ic, like on the simpsons or something, as a kid. The extent to which it was taken as a given in the media,. in the world that i was in, was very, very high. It's kind of commonsensical in a way, you just measuring people brain ability or something like that. But there's otof weird assumptions that go into the idea of an ic score in the first place.
