Timothy thought that John had honestly tried to help them. Like he fully convinced him. So he told the police that it was him that he had given barrel of abortion pills and accidentally killed her himself. But when they went to look, they didn't find her because he didn't do that. Why would he do that? He still has a daughter. I think it's like him just panicking, I guess, and not knowing. And if, you know, he thought this guy was doing him a favor, he's trying to take it off him a little bit.
