The book was self aware in the sherman mc coy and the melony griffith character, maria ruskin, are both extremely race. The movie seems to be on the side of the racism in the way everything is portrayed. It just doesn't translate. Because these people aren't sellingi it because they're all, they're all the thing. I mean, e fris like this isn't make sense at all. A melonygriffith herself, walk about the anti semetism there, and also the inaccurate anti sematism. That really bothered me too.
