The common lay person understanding of autism as being someone who is completely antisocial. They're looking for the repetitive behaviors that are expecting a complete lack of eye contact and are expecting for this person to not be interested in making friends. There's obviously, I like to use the phrase either in more obvious need of support or more obviously challenged by it.
