The Difference Between Western and Chinese Literature

When you started writing in English, or maybe we could talk about the works that you read that were in translation. There's sort of a distinction here. The foreign literature in translation was not a sign reading at all. What drew me to the Western literature was the sensibility and the freedom of storytelling without the censorship. To this day I don't conceive a story in words because words may be a facade,. something I tell other people just to get by.
